The Senior High School ranking is established every year by the Statistics, Research, Information, Management and Public Relations (SRIMPR) division of the Ministry of Education, based on the WASSCE results

Surprisingly, St. James Seminary/Senior High School in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region, has been adjudged the overall best school in the 2018 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
